External Adviser: Lawyer and Notary Public, specialized in Commercial and Civil Procedure Law. He has a Ph.D. in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He holds a licentiate degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica. He was a Higher Civil (and Commercial) Judge and a Deputy Judge of the First Court of the Supreme Court. He is a member and coordinator of the drafting commission of the current Civil Procedure Code of Costa Rica. He is a professor at Universidad de Costa Rica and Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho. He is a Professor of the Judicial School of the Supreme Court. He is also a professor of post-graduate studies in Justice Administration at the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. He is an Arbitrator for the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce. He is a professor for the Master's Program in Notarial Law (postgraduate studies of the School of Law from the Universidad de Costa Rica).
