Lic. Rodríguez was a member of the Supreme Court of Costa Rica (Judge of the First Court of the Supreme Court), and later he was a Judge and first President of the Constitutional Court of the Supreme Court of Costa Rica; he was also the President of the Contentious-Administrative Court of the Superior Court. He studied Public Law in the University of Bordeaux, France and Tax Law at the Inter-American Center for Tax Studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Moreover, Lic. Rodríguez has been co-editor of several laws in Finance and Public Law, including the General Customs Law, the Amendments of the General Public Administration Law, the Constitutional Jurisdiction Law, among others. Lic. Rodrí guez is also a Law Arbitrator of the Supreme Court and a member of the Commission assessing the Judges who are applying for promotions at the Judiciary.
